Powder and Mass Mixer
This machines consists of semi cylindrical “u” shaped trough mounted on trunions and is of fully welded construction.
The close-fitting rotor has inclined flat oar shaped paddles integrally cast on a horizontal hollow shaft. The paddles cut through the dough at different levels and also at the trough walls to give points of intense shear. The mild centrifugal action generated and the inclination of the paddles result in thorough homogenous mixing of the dough. The end blades are shaped to move the material towards the centre of the trough.
The paddle is completely cast in stainless steel and is not welded to the shaft as in the other models generally available. The working volume for a given gross volume is generally higher when compared to the other models available. This enables feasibility of larger volume of products with less bulk density to be mixed as in the case of pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
The superior acid alkali resistant teflon impregnated gland rope packing and location of the bearings well away from the sides of the trough ensure perfect sealing eliminating black particle contamination, which is the main problem that occurs in a paddle mixer. The trough is of welded construction and the unique method of shaft mounting adopted in the same eliminates cantilever load and consequent wear out of seals unlike in other model available in the market.

and 125 kgs.
